If you’re looking for a scenic mountain resort that’s not too far from the hustle and bustle of the city, Blueridges Mountain Resort just might be perfect for you.
Blueridges Mountain Resort, formerly Zurna Mountain Resort, sits on top of a hill in Upper Mohon, Can Asujan, Carcar City, Cebu. The resort is one and a half hours (40 km) away from Cebu City’s Kilometer Zero (Capitol Site), not far from the highway (5 km – about same distance to the nearest hospital, shopping malls and groceries).

Blueridges Mountain Resort has two large pools – one for kids, placed higher up, and one for grown-ups at the lower level. Picture at top is the grown-ups pool, with a roofed viewing deck and a water slide. Below is the kiddie pool.
As you can see, the location offers scenic mountain vistas (of nearby San Fernando) and a panoramic view of Carcar City below.
There’s a restobar beside the upper pool, picnic cottages for rent, and sunbathing chairs around the pools. If you bring ready-to-grill food, there are grill areas available (corkage fee is PhP 500 for unlimited food brought in – fee waived if you’re checking in – but you can only cook grillable food).
If you plan to stay overnight, there are also room accommodations. There are four ‘Couples’ rooms (at Php 2,000) and two ‘Family’ rooms for six (at PhP 4,000). All are fully airconditioned, with great views to boot.
