Cambuhawe Swimming Pool NOW OPEN for FREE!

Ask any locals for places to visit around Balamban and they would always include Cambuhawe Spring as a must visit. Aside from their shipbuilding industry, Balamban is home to this cold spring that has been a familiar weekend getaway among locals because of its close proximity to the municipality proper. Cambuhawe Spring features a spring pool which waters originate from the cold mountain spring.

Sadly, due to some problems with regards to its maintenance, it has been subjected to a number of negative feedbacks among locals and visiting tourists. Sachets of shampoo, snacks, and the like are often left by guests. Green moss and algae have been abundantly growing around the pool making it unappealing to some.

Cambuhawe Spring has been indefinitely closed last year, finally for maintenance and renovation. According to reports, it was already turned over to be handled by the local government in partnership with Tsuneishi and JARC.

After its closure, Cambuhawe Swimming Pool now opens its doors for locals and visiting guests with better amenities and services. Its swimming pool now looks alluring with its Olympic swimming pool-inspired features. The surrounding green lushes of vegetation were kept as is to maintain the natural vibes of the spring pool. The slide was converted into stairs so guests can easy access the swimming ool. The cottages were also upgraded.
