It’s 33° C outside and it’s not even the hottest temperature that Cebu has ever had. Schools are getting ready to start a long Holy Week break, and so the city is beginning to take a rest as well. It is lonely outside. Unlike most days, the city is quieter but not peaceful. I feel lonely. It is so hot! The land is dry, stray dogs are thirsty and they are all scavenging for food and water.
Thank God for the Holy Week. As we remember Christ’s death and how He rose from the deathbed, let us also keep in mind that this life is a chance for us to take care of what and who Jesus died for– YOU.
And because of this beautiful life that we were given, let us nurture our mind, body, and spirit by enjoying the freedom and all the wonderful things that He has allowed for us to take pleasure in! And also, please don’t forget to leave food and water to your pets and a little something for the dogs outside as well.
What’s the cure for this insane heat?
Water. And more sun.
Water refreshes us, but honestly, welcoming the sun to kiss our skin helps our skin to breathe more. Of course, city heat is so different from the heat at the beach. So pack your things and drive to Cebu Club Fort Med Resort right now!
