In the FIRST Reader’s Digest Quality of Service Awards, Cebu’s very own Chong Hua Hospital bags the GOLD in the Hospital / Medical service category! Makati Medical Center gets the silver.
The award has been designed to recognize companies that provide excellent customer service across the Philippines and in 4 other Asian countries – Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore, Malaysia.
The winners are what Reader’s Digest can recommend to their readers as companies they can turn to in times of need.
The methodology in arriving at the winners of this award included approximately 5,000 consumers spread across the 5 countries earlier mentioned. More importantly, these survey respondents should have used the services of the companies they are giving an opinion on in the last 12 months in order to qualify.
The survey itself composed of 4 open ended questions as follows:
- “Personalisation: Was an individual customer experience provided?”
- “Understanding: Was a genuine insight into the customer’s needs demonstrated?”
- “Simplicity: Was dealing with the company quick and easy?”
- “Satisfaction: Was the customer’s expectation met or, even better, exceeded?”
Chong Hua Hospital joins the likes of Citibank, Sunlife, and PLDT in this awarding.
