It’s all about finding the calm in the chaos ~

A beautiful way to spend time away from the stressful city life is to take a trip to the beach or to the mountains. Take a little time to relax and find the calm in the chaos of everyday living in the suburbs. I know you and I both agree that a little R and R will do your mind and soul good. And breathing the fresh sea breeze will not only make you feel more relaxed, but you will also heal within.

Dakong Bato means “Big Rock” in English and the resort’s landmark and will be seen at the resort’s gate. It’s also where the resort got its name. The resort offers room accommodations that are fully air-conditioned and most rooms have a sea view – which is pretty awesome. Rooms at the resort can accommodate 2 up to 10 people, great for families or barkadas.

There are also function halls and gazebos that big groups can use for workshops or team buildings, parties and other gatherings. Dakong Bato has an in-house restaurant called Big Rock and you can also have some karaoke fun with friends here.

For guests who wish to stay at the resort during the day, you can stay in their cottages. Then cool down at the pools or do some snorkeling fun at the sea. The kids can also enjoy the slides at their pool, adults can enjoy the jacuzzi and also stay in the resort’s seawater enclosure.

The resort is surrounded by a nice garden which is pleasing to the eyes and makes a good contrast to the blue ocean – will definitely soothe and calm your soul. There’s also lots of fun stuff to do at the resort – there are kayaks and dingy boats for rent and guests can go on a cave adventure. That, or you can just stay and be still at the viewing deck and watch the pretty sunset.
