Dr. Emilio Osmeña Botanical Garden in Busay!

Can’t tolerate the summer heat? Cool off and escape to the mountains of Cebu City! No need to fly to other countries to experience winter because you will surely feel refreshed by the cool breeze of Cebu highlands at the recently opened garden resort – Dr. Emilio Osmeña Botanical Garden.

Located at Barangay Malubog, this botanical garden aims to bring guests back into the realms of nature and help them release the stress brought about by city life. The development is still going on but they are now open for the public to experience. Aside from the various ornamental and botanical plants cultivated in the area, it also serves a place to those who want to take a dip in their swimming pool which they fondly call as “The Pond”.

For only P100, you can already enjoy this refreshing treat. They also have rooms/shelter which you can rent for only P200. The tables beside the pool are FREE of use for guests. On the accounts given by visitors, they noted that the restrooms and shower area of the garden is superbly clean. In addition, they have a very big parking area that can accommodate a large number of vehicles.

HOW TO GET THERE?

PUBLIC

From JY Square, hire a taxi or habal-habal that will directly bring you to Dr. Emilio Botanical Garden. For convenience, please agree ahead of time if you want them to pick you after. The area is quite far from the national road; so if you don’t want to walk back to highway, settle agreement with drivers ahead of time.

 PRIVATE

Use Google Map or Waze and locate Don Emilio Botanical Garden. It is on the way to Tops of Cebu, in between Balay sa Busay Restaurant and La Vie in the Sky.
