If you ever bring in some trash to the shore, pick them up and put them where they belong– in the trash bin. After all, the Philippine islands are not your trash bin but your home.

When you come to Casay Dalaguete Beach, you will notice that the view is very similar. The horizon is far and flat. The water is very clear that you won’t need goggles to see the underwater. The sand is very nice as well. You just want to fit everything in a bottle and take it home with you!

If you are a fan of Bantayan beaches, then this place will not disappoint. It is surprisingly very similar to the popular beaches of the north. However, this is much newer to the public eye.

The overall experience is very refreshing– good the heart, body, and soul! Plus, Dalaguete is not so far from Cebu City so it is a bonus.

This place is perfect for family bonding and team building activities. If you want to just lay in the sand to relax and enjoy nature, you can do that here too. There are rocky parts but it is mostly sandy.

Before the entire world knows about this paradise, make sure to already plan out your trip so you would be one to experience its fullness, minus the trash and the loud music and the crowd.

I can’t express enough how beaches make my heart so happy. They are such perfect therapy for literally everyone. If you are going fixing a broken heart, or maybe mending a dying career life, or may someone who have no worries at all– this trip is what you need.

The resort has installed nice tables and cottages around the area so people can enjoy the view comfortably so. These facilities are for rent and they are quite expensive. The tables are for 250 pesos per day, the small cottages are for 350 while the big ones are for 1,500. The entrance fee is quite reasonable at 30 pesos per adult and 15 for the kids.

Honestly, we do not need a reason to go on a trip to the beach. Sometimes, the beach knows that you are going through something (whether you admit it or not) and it just heals you. There is such a comforting feeling when you know that someone, or in this case, a beach, know that you need comfort. And so, going somewhere this beautiful should never be just an option.

To get the most out of your vacation, travel before the sun rises to get there at around 7 or 8 in the morning.

How to get there

Dalaguete Beach is found in Brgy. Casay, in the southern part of Cebu. To get to Dalaguete, take a bus from South Bus Terminal going to Dalaguete. Tell the driver to drop you off at the Dalaguete Beach and he will take you there. It is along the main road so you will have to walk to the beach or hire a tricycle. Bringing a car is also the most convenient way to get there. They have a parking space for 20 pesos per car. You may try to contact them at 253-3532 or walk-in.
