Cebu has been blessed with so many gorgeous destinations that even Cebuanos will never get tired of. Aside from some historic monuments, Cebu is one of a kind when it comes to beaches. As an archipelago, the Philippine islands is expected to be surrounded by a large body of water, but who knew it could be actually this attractive?
The province has it all– a progressive and busy city life, luscious mountains, hot and cold springs, mesmerizing waterfalls, mysterious caves and high peaks. Name it.
But what we are known for are not all these.
Cebu is a tourist favorite because of the beaches. Tourists from all over the world spend their hard-earned money to spend a couple of days in Cebu beaches, isn’t that wonderful? We have that to boost our economy– and so much more. How can you not love this beautiful island?
This article will solely about this quiet beach in the south which not many of us have heard of. While it created a buzz online, some of us would still prefer destinations that we are already familiar with. Would you like to try something new yet familiar too?
Then keep on reading!
Lately, the internet has gone crazy about this gem for having a nice and long shoreline, fine and white sands and of course, very clean water. The view is very beautifully breathtaking.
Casay Dalaguete Beach is surrounded by dancing trees and blue skies. The sound of the waves can be heard from afar and it will be one of the most relaxing vacations you will ever have.
You will even feel more relaxed when you see their price rates! Theirs is too far from the commercialized beaches in the many parts of the country. You will not think twice about bringing an entire barangay here.
This beautiful scene of untouched beauty should never be abused. As people start to flock, we should always remember to keep the beach as clean as possible. If you ever bring in some trash to the shore, pick them up and put them where they belong– in the trash bin. After all, the Philippine islands are not your trash bin but your home.
When you come to Casay Dalaguete Beach, you will notice that the view is very similar. The horizon is far and flat. The water is very clear that you won’t need goggles to see the underwater. The sand is very nice as well. You just want to fit everything in a bottle and take it home with you!
You can have fun under the sun by playing some ball games near the shore. You can also bring with you a frisbee, a drone or maybe your dog too. You can confirm that by calling their office.
If you are a fan of Bantayan beaches, then this place will not disappoint. It is surprisingly very similar to the popular beaches of the north. However, this is much newer to the public eye.
The resort is being managed by the tourism office. You can always contact them if you have inquiries or if you have issues with the place.
The overall experience is very refreshing– good the heart, body, and soul! Plus, Dalaguete is not so far from Cebu City so it is a bonus.
This place is perfect for family bonding and team building activities. If you want to just lay in the sand to relax and enjoy nature, you can do that here too. There are rocky parts but it is mostly sandy.
Before the entire world knows about this paradise, make sure to already plan out your trip so you would be one to experience its fullness, minus the trash and the loud music and the crowd.
I can’t express enough how beaches make my heart so happy. They are such perfect therapy for literally everyone. If you are going fixing a broken heart, or maybe mending a dying career life, or may someone who have no worries at all– this trip is what you need.
The resort has installed nice tables and cottages around the area so people can enjoy the view comfortably so. These facilities are for rent and they are quite expensive. The tables are for 250 pesos per day, the small cottages are for 350 while the big ones are for 1,500. The entrance fee is quite reasonable at 30 pesos per adult and 15 for the kids.
Honestly, we do not need a reason to go on a trip to the beach. Sometimes, the beach knows that you are going through something (whether you admit it or not) and it just heals you. There is such a comforting feeling when you know that someone, or in this case, a beach, know that you need comfort. And so, going somewhere this beautiful should never be just an option.
To get the most out of your vacation, travel before the sun rises to get there at around 7 or 8 in the morning.
