FREE Swab Tests at these 5 Clinics in Cebu City

The rainy season has officially started. With it comes a number of influenza-like illnesses – such of cough, fever, runny nose, and sore throat. Instead of feeling more anxious, experimenting around those remedies, and continuously getting paranoid if you do have the corona virus disease, why not confirm what you are feeling?

While swab testing for coronavirus disease is quite expensive in the private hospitals, the Cebu City government employed five clinics that will take care of those who have influenza-like illnesses in all 80 barangays of the city.

Free Clinics for Swab Testing Cebu City

Cebu City Mayor Edgardo Labella has tasked five clinics to take care of Cebu City residents who are experiencing influenza-like illnesses. This was done after City Administrator Floro Casa Jr. was informed how expensive hospitals have been charging those patients who are to undergo a real-time polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) tests (also known as swab test).

Those who have colds, cough, sore throat, fever, or upset stomach are encouraged to visit the cluster clinics for free consultation or checkup. These clinics are open from Monday to Friday, 8am to 3pm.
