Just a little bit north of the city of Cebu, you’ll find a nice municipality called Danao. It’s one of the fast-developing cities in the province and has a lot to offer for visitors and those looking for a quick get-away. One can go around the town visiting historical sites as well as have a relaxing day at one of the resorts there. One of which is the Tuburan Sur Mountain Resort.
Tuburan Sur Mountain resort is currently available only for day-use as they still do not have accommodations for guests. The place looks like an ideal place for anyone who’s looking to just have some chill and relaxing afternoon with the kids. Enjoy your cool drinks and bathe under the sun. And let the kids have fun playing and splashing by the kiddie pool.
Tuburan Sur Mountain Resort’s Function Hall is a great venue for parties and events. Guests can book the place and have their weddings, conferences, team building activities, and other celebrations here. The place can accommodate up to 300 visitors including outside the hall. The resort has 2 big function halls for all occasions. The first one is located on the top of the mountain facing the ocean, and the second one is in the lower part of the adult pool – near the gate entrance. The second function hall has a 2 feet kiddie pool located in between the halls. Kiddie pool has 1 slide, umbrella fountain and many sprinkles to keep the children amused while swimming.
The place is facing the mountains, guaranteed the air will be fresh and you would be surrounded by the greens. It will be nice to just sit there and eat yummy fresh foodies and drink cold beverages, and just let time pass. The resort doesn’t charge any corkage fees, so guests are welcome to bring their own food and drinks. Why not take your family’s/ friend’s BBQ get-together over at the Tuburan Sur Mountain Resort.

Note: Tuburan Sur Mountain Resort is open from 8 AM – 6 PM on weekdays and 8 AM – 9 PM on the weekends.

CAR: The easiest and most convenient to get to the resort if through a private or rental car. Just search Tuburan Sur Mountain Resort on Google Maps or Waze. Then follow the directions to the resort. The drive usually takes about an hour and a half.
V-HIRE: Take a van for hire or v-hire bound for Danao from the Cebu North Bus Terminal or from SM City Cebu. Tell the driver you would like to get down at the Danao Terminal. Then from there, you can take a habal-habal ride to the resort. It only takes about 5 minutes.
BUS/ MINI-BUSES: Go to the Cebu North Bus Terminal and get on a bus bound for Carmen or Sogod. It’s the cheapest way to get to Danao, and when you get to the town. Tell the driver you would like to get down at the Danao Terminal. Then from there, you can take a habal-habal ride to the resort. It only takes about 5 minutes.
