The Biggest Oceanarium in the Philippines, Cebu Ocean Park, is ready to open!

Finally, the long wait is over. Cebu’s very first ocean theme park will finally open this August 24, 2019 at the South Road Properties, near SM Seaside City Cebu. This will be the biggest oceanarium in the Philippines – even bigger than Manila Ocean Park!

WHAT TO SEE?

As per announcement of the developer, Cebu Sealife Park Inc., the 1.5 hectares with seven-meter deep Oceanarium and 360-degree viewing tunnels that exhibits thousands of marine creatures will now be seen and experienced by ocean lovers for educational and discovery tours. Aside from this interesting feat of rich biodiversity of marine animals, Cebu Ocean Park will also showcase other attractions that would stimulate interactive and informative programs for visitors – like Jungle Trek, Creepy Critters, Fish Spa, Bird Feeding, Stingray interaction, Crocodile encounter, and Sea Trek.

WHAT TO EXPERIENCE?

Adding fun and excitement to Cebu Ocean Park, function space and food halls (Gusto Food Hall) are also made available to cater the needs of local and foreign tourists all year round. They also have water adventures to enjoy for those who want to feel the rush of adrenaline while inside the Marine Park – like helmet dive, glass bottom ride, mermaid swim, fish spa, and up close and personal with crocodiles! You can even dive with a 14 footer saltwater crocodile!

WHAT TO LEARN?

Through these activities, Cebu Ocean Park aims to encourage volunteerism, public education and community mobilization among its visitors through increased public awareness and action on coastal management issues. In addition, this will also instill pride among Filipinos on the rich natural resources of the country and challenge them to take part in the preservation of our shared marine biodiversity. They will also open convention halls for education and sustainable tourism forums.
