The University of San Carlos is recognized as one of the most respected higher education institutions in the Philippines. The programs offered by the university has been duly accredited by the Federation of Accrediting Associations of the Philippines (FAAP) and Philippine Technological Council-Accreditation and Certification Board for Engineering and Technology (PTC-ACBET) and evaluated by the Philippine Accrediting Association of Schools, Colleges, and Universities (PAASCU). Because of its status, the Philippine Commission on Higher Education (CHED) has granted USC the Autonomous Status to the University and designated eight Centers of Excellence (COE) and 12 Centers of Development (COD) to the university.

USC Financial Assistance Program: Scholarships, Grants-in-Aid, and Loans

Empowered by the missionary charism of the Society of the Divine Word (SVD), the University of San Carlos offers a total of one hundred sixteen (116) student financial assistance for to more than 4,000 scholars/grantees to Basic Education, Tertiary, and Graduate students.
