Oprah Winfrey once said ~ Helping others is the way we help ourselves.

Throughout this pandemic crisis, Filipinos from everywhere in the country have done what they can in order to help one another in these troubling times. A lot of Free Classes, Free Consultation, Free Seeds for Gardening, as well as some Free Food has been given and provided to many, especially those in desperate needs.

Moreover, our National Government has also been trying their best to conquer and fight this Covid-19 crisis. There are now more FREE shuttle services that go around the streets of Cebu City – for the use of Health Workers and Frontliners. The Office of the Vice President has added additional buses to go about the usual Cebu City routes.

Vice President Leni Robredo stated on her Facebook Page that the shuttles had started operation and going on three routes getting through to the northern and southern borders of the city.

On July 6, Robredo published on her page and said, “Our buses have served their first trip along with our initial three routes early this morning. Our free shuttle service is part of #BayanihanSugbuanon, our office’s COVID-19 Response Operations in Cebu.” And she also added that “Our schedules and routes may be subject to adjustments, based on the needs that will be seen during our pilot run”.

The three routes consist of two trips each – one in the AM and one in the PM.

Vice President Robredo stated that the Free Shuttle Services will remain in Cebu until the end of the Community Quarantine or until public transport would go back to normal.

The buses will make the Health workers and other Front liners their priority. However, if there are available seats, local residents can also take advantage of the free shuttles.
