The tourism\nindustry has been massively hit by the coronavirus pandemic. As one of the\ndriving forces of the economy, surely it has greatly affected many Filipinos as\nbusinesses procedures are now being put to halt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
After months of\nquarantine and strict compliance of health and safety measures, Cebu Governor\nGwendolyn Garcia finds it necessary to gradually resume some tourism activities\nin the province given that many Cebuanos rely on tourism as main source of\nlivelihood.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Governor\nGarcia issues Executive Order No. 20-A<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Last July 23,\nThursday, Governor Garcia issued Executive Order No. 20-A which now allows the\nopening of tourist attractions and outlines the guidelines that need to be\nfollowed in order to promote the health and wellness of the visitors,\naccommodating establishments, and dine-in of restaurant customers while in Cebu\nprovince under the Modified General Community Quarantine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Tourism\nActivities that are Allowed under MGCQ<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Under the aforementioned\nexecutive order, the following activities may now be done in the following\nmunicipalities:<\/p>\n\n\n\n Health\nand Safety Protocols to be followed for Tourism Activities<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Here are the health\nand safety protocols as stipulated in the Executive Order No. 20-A:<\/p>\n\n\n\n Other\nimportant Guidelines include:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n For more details, read the full text of the Executive Order here<\/strong><\/a>: <\/strong>https:\/\/web.facebook.com\/sugbonews.gov\/posts\/1429198523931841?_rdc=1&_rdr<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" The tourism industry has been massively hit by the coronavirus pandemic.
