Hardcore gamer? Well, it\u2019s about time you put to purpose your intelligence in online gaming because a scholarship for exceptional college gamers and student esport community leaders has been launched last Sunday, September 20 by Globe and Esports AcadArena.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Philippine\u2019s\nFirst Esports Scholarship<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Esports\nAcadArena, the local campus esports organization teamed up with Globe\nTelecom for the country\u2019s first esports scholarship. This\nscholarship will cover 25% to 100% of eligible college student\u2019s\ntuition. Aside from that, the program also offers a \u201cFamily Good\nGame Grant\u201d which provides P25,000 to P50,000 to the families of\ngamers participating in specific AcadArena tournaments. \n<\/p>\n\n\n\n This scholarship is open to active rosters of Alliance member schools who have shown good character and performance in any of the games under AcadArena.<\/p>\n\n\n\n This scholarship is open to support staff of the Alliance Member Schools who have shown good character and contribution to the growth of the campus esport scene in their community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The Family Good Game Grant is open to families of players with good character who qualified in any official tournament of the AcadArena whether for AcadArena University Alliance Cup or the AcadArena National Campus Open.<\/p>\n\n\n\n How\nto become an eligible Esport Scholar?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n To\nbecome eligible, the applicant must come from a \u201c3-star accredited\u201d\nAcadArena partner student organization. Currently, the following are\nthe only student organizations accredited by AcadArena under their\n\u201cAlliance Program\u201d:<\/p>\n\n\n\n Details\nregarding other requirements of eligibility, as well as application\nprocess of scholarship will be announced by the AcadArena soon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
