(Even at present, it still has a negative image to some people).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But now that we see the economic potentials of e-sports and content creation, many are now shifting towards the opportunities made available online. From the usual \u2018I want to be a doctor, lawyer, engineer, astronaut\u2019 answers, now we see an influx of YouTuber, influencer, vlogger, and gamer upfront responses among many digital natives when asked the notorious \u2018What do you want to be when you grow up?\u2019 question.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>AcadArena Scholarship Program<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To unlock the potentials of the young Filipinos, AcadArena offers scholarships, aids, and powerups to senior high school and college students who are passionate about gaming, streaming, podcasting, blogging, and creating an impact on society through community activities, at the same time supporting their families.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>AcadArena is the leading organization in the Philippines and Southeast Asia particularly focused on Campus Gaming and E-sports Education in the Philippines. It is run by a team of seasoned e-sports professionals who are dedicated to providing student gamers and content creators the best of what campus e-sports can offer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>What are the Available AcadArena Scholarship Grants?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li><strong>Content Creator Grant<\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Content Creator Grant of AcadArena is made possible by Twitch Student. Accepted content creators will receive a financial grant amounting to P15,000.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To be accepted, the applicant must be an enrolled senior high school or college student. Applicants must complete the online application <a href=\"https:\/\/app.acadarena.com\/signUp\">here<\/a> and must have an active streamer in Twitch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li><strong>Gear Aid<\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Powered by Logitech G, accepted senior high school or college students will be provided by Logitech G with a G512 keyboard, G502 mouse, and G431 headset. Those who would wish to avail of these upgrades must complete the application process <a href=\"https:\/\/app.acadarena.com\/signUp\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li><strong>Globe-AcadArena Good Game Grant<\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>If you are a breadwinner, then now is your chance to get a P15,000 family grant from Globe-AcadArena. What\u2019s more interesting is that those who have already applied for the other AcadArena grants can still apply for this grant as long as the highs school or college student is a part of a household in need.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Requirement includes an essay focusing on the theme #NotJustPlay.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li><strong>AcadArena Women in E-sports<\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Acknowledging the huge contribution of women in the e-sports industry, AcadArena, in partnership with Globe, offers a P15,000 grant to active female senior high school or college gamers. All she has to do is to submit a fully-accomplished online application form <a href=\"https:\/\/app.acadarena.com\/signUp\">here<\/a>, an essay on the theme #NotJustPlay, and a copy or screenshot of grades in the last two semesters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li><strong>Globe-AcadArena Good Game Grant<\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>A thesis grant amounting to P10,000 will be given to the selected senior high school or college students who are proponents of either a thesis for program completion or project within the campus or community in need thesis. This can also be a project that is gaming or e-sport related.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To qualify, applicants must submit complete documentation of their research with proof of approval and supervision of a thesis\/project advisor. They must also submit the #NotJustPlay essay.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li><strong>Globe-AcadArena Merit Esports Scholarship (GAMES) \u2013 Leadership<\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>A tuition fee coverage of P30,000 for Gold Awardees and P15,000 for Silver Awardees will be granted to enrolled senior high school or college students in a campus with a 2 or 3-star Alliance student organization.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To qualify, the applicant must be an active member or a student leader in their Alliance organization. Serving as an active member or working as an officer in other organizations is a plus. A fully-accomplished online application must be submitted to AcadArena with a copy or screenshot of grades in the last two semesters, a letter of recommendation from one faculty member of the campus, accompanied by a #NotJustPlay essay.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li><strong>Globe-AcadArena Merit Esports Scholarship (GAMES) &#8211; Competitive<\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Senior high school or college students who are qualified in AcadArena\u2019s leagues UAC and NCO Season 2 (and who have been qualified in tournaments outside AcadArena) can apply for a tuition fee coverage of P30,000 for Gold Awardees and P15,000 for Silver Awardees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>All they have to do to accomplish the online application form, send a copy or screenshot of their grades in the last two semesters accompanied by a letter of recommendation from one faculty member of the campus and a #NotJustPlay essay.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Those who are already enjoying a scholarship \u2013 like state college students who are full scholars can still apply for the abovementioned grants and power aids.
