Do you remember Ferdinand Magellan? He was the Portuguese who\u00a0assembled\u00a0the Spanish expedition and explored the world. Magellan is known for his circumnavigation around the globe where he settled in Cebu.\u00a0This led to the “discovery” of the Philippines\u00a0and sparked a war between the locals and the Spanish troops.<\/p>\n
