It’s located near Pier 1, which makes it a nice place to spend the night in before taking\u00a0the ferry to nearby islands such as\u00a0Ormoc, Bohol,\u00a0Dumaguete and others.<\/p>\n The owners decided the name Happy Nest because of its ‘happy location’ plus the hostel has that modern tropical feels and complete amenities – which ensures happy guests! They offer both mixed and female-only dorm rooms that are air-conditioned and really affordable. Plus their bathrooms are so nice – hot & cold shower, clean sinks and toilets with bidets. There is also a restaurant and bar\u00a0where guests can enjoy their meals, coffee and beer – and also socialize with other guests.<\/p>\n What I like most about this hostel is how it’s close to a lot of must-see places downtown like the Sto. Ni\u00f1o Church, Fort San Pedro and many other historical buildings in town.
