Commuting in the Philippines is crazy. The temperature is high so walking a short distance will require you an umbrella, a large fan, and cold water. Taxi fares have gone off the roof and so is the price for basic cars. What can a regular person do to get to the destination without fighting for his life?<\/p>\n
Jeepneys are a necessity and have been a staple in our roads as the main means of transportation in the country. It costs commuters almost nothing in terms of fare price (currently minimum of 8 pesos), but the danger of riding old, rustic (literally), and the unsafe ride cannot be denied.<\/p>\n
