Cebu, Visayas Islands – voted as Best Island in Asia according to Condé Nast Traveler 

You’ve read it right. Cebu and Visayas Islands have been named by the international magazine, Condé Nast Traveler, as the Best Island in Asia on their Best Islands in the World: 2020 Readers’ Choice Awards.

As the Philippines strives to bring back tourism, this citation has totally spring hope for a more sustainable and responsible tourism development in the country despite the coronavirus pandemic. Along with Cebu and Visayas Islands, Palawan, Siargao, and Boracay also made it to the Top 10 list in Asia. With this, Philippines has become the country with the greatest number of slots in the list of this prestigious international travel magazine.

Condé Nast Traveler is a luxury and lifestyle magazine that features destination guides all over the world. In this year’s Readers’ Choice Awards, Cebu and the Visayas were named as the Best in Asia with a score of 95.73.

Aside from the pristine beaches and enchanting diving sites of Cebu, Condé Nast Traveler also highlighted Cebu’s renowned tourist destinations which include the Basilica Minore del Santo Niño and Kawasan Falls in Badian.
