Coal Mountain is a mountain resort, as the name states; which makes it a really chill place to take a vacation at. Because of its natural cool atmosphere, it would be hard not to enjoy such a beautiful view.

Swimming is also an activity which everybody loves to enjoy. Being in the mountaintop, the water is expected to be cold. This is what we are all after for, right?

Forget about the hot all-year summer feels because surprisingly, Coal Mountain has more than 1 swimming pool. How cute is that?

Kids will certainly enjoy splashing around these mini pools. Aside from that, I believe that you too would love it here. Every angle is picturesque and the vibe is very relaxing. Argao is unquestionably a must-visit before the year ends!

Rates

The rates are reasonable. To be able to appreciate such a breathtaking creation, you must stay there for at least 1 night. Here are their rates:

Overnight stays will require a booking. Their standard room with aircon costs 2,500, good for 2 persons while their ordinary room only costs 2,000 pesos. You may also rent their deluxe room (3,000), kubo for 1,000 or tent for only 300 pesos good for 4 persons.

The entrance fee is 150 pesos per person. Good for you if you live nearby! This resort is a perfect getaway from the chaotic life schedules and the busy daily routine.

Location

Coal Mountain Resort is in Argao, Cebu. To go there from Cebu City, take a bus from the South Bus Terminal heading to Argao. Once you reach Argao, take a habal-habal to take you to the mountain resort. Going there by a private ride would be much easier, though. But just in case, the fare is around 100 pesos via bus. The entire trip will take about 3 hours or so.
